Pacific Swell is the sound of those days, where the few glimpses remaining from the night before shares bed with regret and the heat insisting on keeping you awake. Stuck between waves and dust, burned-out country, Swedish doctors and Mexican death days Pacific Swell pulls you back into the haze and the coloured lamps to a place, where it is okay to forget tomorrow.
Since forming in the coastal city of Grenaa in 2015 the four guys have made themselves aprominent following in the surf mecca of Klitmøller on the Danish west coast. With that as a basethey have set out to play a plentitude of concerts around Denmark among these opening for garage bands such as Powersolo (Denmark) and the Courettes (Brazil/Denmark). A collaboration with Tapetown Studio in Aarhus resulted in the live singles “Clean Gypsies” and “Doctor Love” which caught the attention of Germany. For example, they have played at Waldstock Festival in Bavaria and Fever Creek Festival in Berlin. Later this year an EP will be released, recorded in collaboration with Johan Knutz Haavik of the Danish band Hong Kong. The new material can already be heard live on stage this April/May in Germany.
